Robert Stogsdill
“I started volunteering hat the shelter in March 2010 although I have been involved with the Humane Society for many years. I adopted my first dog, Casey, in 2002 and since that time I have added two more dogs (Amber and Riley) to my family from the shelter. I enjoy being part of the commitment of an organization that is dedicated to caring for animals until they can find lifelong homes. There are so many roles a volunteer can play at the shelter and each role has a tremendous impact on the success of the shelter’s mission. It doesn’t take a lot of time to help and the message I want to share is that my only regret is that I didn’t start volunteering sooner.”- Bob Stogsdill
Bob’s care and love for animals shines through in everything he does to help here at the shelter. We (including the animals) are so fortunate to have volunteers like Bob who believe so deeply in our cause and mission. We cannot thank Bob enough for his time and his love.
Volunteer of the Month for June
Merlene Monge
Merlene is always as sweet as can be, while doing anything and everything she can to help us help our animals. Merlene consistently works at our front desk in our shelter lobby and at our thrift store; a true asset to both facilities. Merlene’s big heart makes her shine –anyone who has worked with her will tell you this. We are lucky to have such a truly caring individual working on our behalf. Thank you, Merlene, from the bottom of our hearts.
