Ways to Donate
The Humane Society of Tuolumne County is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal shelter
and we are 100% supported through private donations, fundraising, and support from our wonderful community. We recieve no monies from any government entity, nor are we financially associated with The Humane Society of The United States. Any donation made
is tax-deductible as permissable by law.
Below you will find a variety of ways to donate and help us shelter animals. There are many types of donations, from general donations, to donating in memory of a lost loved one, and leaving The Humane Society a gift in your will. By leaving a gift in your will, your love of dogs can live on and help us make the world a better place for them. If you have any questions about donations, please contact us, and we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

- Make a General Donation
Your heartfelt contribution allows us to continue to be successful in our mission to provide a second chance and find forever homes for unwanted animals. Without donations, we will cease to exist.

You may donate online using your credit card or Paypal account (Paypal account not required for online donations).

- Become a Member
Our membership fees are nominal and are vital to the sustainability
of our shelter. If you support our mission, becoming a member is
easy. Members also receive benefits such as 15% off in our thrift store, Purrrfect Bargains.

- Give the Gift of Comfort

Here's a great way to do the shopping and business you already do, and at the same time, lend support to the animals. Each time you make a purchase from one oft he businesses linked to IGIVE, our animals receive a percentage of the sale. Searching the internet though isearch.igive.com, instead of Google or Yahoo, sends our shelter 2 CENTS WITH EVERY SEARCH!

- Shop Our Online Stores
Our online store, PAWS AWHILE, has pet supplies, unique cat trees, and other items like our shelter calendar and t-shirts. Our eBay store, GIVING ANIMALS A SECOND CHANCE, is also a wonderful place to find a wide variety of treasures. (eBay icon and link)

- Donate gently used or new items to our Thrift Store, Purrrfect Bargains. (209)533-2963
- Shop at our Thrift Store- it’s located at 14317 Mono Way in East Sonora
- Donate items that can be auctioned on eBay
- Renew subscriptions to your favorite magazines or order new subscriptions and help the animals.
- Advertise your business in our newsletter or here on our web site
- Sponsor one of our many fundraising events
- Donate and item or basket to an auction at one of our fundraising events
- Buy tickets for and join in on our fundraising events
- Donate your used cell phones and ink cartridges…we earn cash!
- Recycle in our collection bins(call 984-5489 for locations)
- Recycle at Cal Sierra Disposal and let the attendant know you want the money to go to our shelter
- Purchase items in our shelter such as calendars, greeting cards, art, and candy bars
- Donate your time or special hobby to help us help the animals
- Promote us by linking our page to your web site- we’ll do the same!
- Spread the word about who we are, where we are, and what we do
